Coming from Fort Garland on State Route 159 into San Luis, turn left (E) at the Conoco gas station. Once you leave town this road is called P6. Follow for 2.5 miles until you come to a 4-way stop. Turn right on Rd. 21 and follow for 1.5 miles. Turn right on Rd. L5 (dirt road) and follow for 1.4 miles. Take a sharp left on Rd. 18.9. Go up the mountain for about 6 miles until the stop sign at Wild Horse Dr. Turn left (E) and follow for about 1.1 miles. Turn right (E) on Alta Mesa and follow for about about 0.8 mile.
