Since obtaining his real estate license in 2000, Virgil George has proven himself time and time again in the real estate industry to be an effectual leader, possessing high ethical standards. In 2005, Virgil founded Rocking X Land Company, Ltd., and today remains committed to buyers and sellers alike, as the employing broker.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Virgil served the agricultural sector directly. He was a successful salesperson at an aggressive equipment dealership, where – among multiple achievements – was awarded top sales representative. He was also involved in his family farm operation, which focused on grain and beef production, further solidifying Virgil’s dedication, determination and work ethic in the real estate industry.

Kim George, Associate Broker
|
|
Kim George is one of the new Associate Brokers with Rocking X Land Company, Ltd. She grew up in a small town in western Kansas where she spent her summers working at the co-op elevator & helping her dad out with shingling houses, building garages, decks & a lot of other odd jobs. Kim has always been willing to try new things & is very eager to jump right in & get things done. She attended Dodge City Community College for 2 years, one year of general studies & the 2nd year she graduated in Cosmetology. With almost 19 years of customer service experience she will be a great asset to the business. Along with her being a beautician she has also worked at assisting customers at Feist Yellow Book, a phone book company, rural carrier for the Post Office, Secretarial position for Halde Sand & Gravel & Rocking X Land Company.
In Kim’s spare time she loves to spend it with her family, she enjoys her time with her children, fishing, hunting, gardening, reading & dabbling in interior design. Kim is here to make your selling or buying of a home as simple as possible for you. Please feel free to contact her today.

Scott White, Associate Broker
|
|
Born and raised on a ranch in eastern Colorado, Scott graduated from Kit Carson High School in 1980. In the fall of 1980 he attended Ferrier School in Purcell, OK. In the spring of 1981, he attended college at Panhandle State University in Goodwell, OK on a rodeo scholarship. In 1984, Scott went to work for Colorado Interstate Gas Company, as a mechanic for almost 14 years. While employed at the gas company he pursued careers in the horseshoeing business and rodeo, as a PRCA Steer Wrestler. In 1997, Scott began his own business, White’s Horseshoeing. While visiting Virgil, Rocking X Land's Employing Broker, in 2006 about a small piece of land Virgil asked Scott if he had ever considered getting into the Real Estate business? Scott has now been licensed for three years and really enjoys the business. Over the years he has developed a lot of friendships with people in different walks of life. Scott feels that honesty should be a top priority in business and feels that is what we provide our customers.

Amber Smelker, Associate Broker

|
An Associate Broker with Rocking X Land Company, Amber Smelker is a native of Eastern Colorado. She is a graduate of the Metropolitan State College of Denver’s School of Professional Studies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Tourism and Events. Amber joined Rocking X Land Company with nearly 10 years of customer service experience beginning while in High School working at The Claremont Inn, Stratton, CO and continued throughout her college years employed for companies such as the Historical Hotel, The Eldridge in Lawrence, KS; the Adam’s Mark Denver (currently the Sheraton Denver) and was part of the sales and pre-opening team at The Ritz-Carlton, Denver. She is a member of the Colorado and the National Association of Realtors.
Amber enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading and her dog, Oliver. Amber looks forward to assisting you with your residential needs, whether that be selling your home for the right price and, or helping you in your search to find the home of your dreams.
